    The main library is in Aylsham, and a van visits Erpingham (by the Erpingham Arms) every third Thursday, and Thwaite Common and Calthorpe Corner every third Monday.

  • Village Care

    Based in Aldborough but offers services to anyone in the local parishes.

    At the moment has weekly lunch club 01263 768059, runs a volunteer driver scheme taking patients to local clinics 01263 761597, and organises occasional trips etc.

    Can take more customers and volunteers, especially from our two parishes.

  • Allotments

    There are allotment plots in Calthorpe administered by the Townland Trust. Contact Jim Alston 01263 761798

  • Churches

    There are Church of England churches in both Erpingham and Calthorpe – part of the Scarrowbeck group of churches including Alby, Aldborough, Ingworth, Thwaite and Thurgarton.

    First Sunday of the month: 10am Group Service at one of these churches in rotation, 2nd and 4th Sunday: 9.30am at Erpingham; 3rd and 5th Sunday: 9.30am at Calthorpe.
